NO DRILL OPTION

The X-Paste comes with two ways of fixing to any surface; 1. The no-drill option is the super strong 3M adhesive fixing strip. 2. We also supply traditional screws and wall plugs. Most people use the no-drill option!

Fixing with the 3M adhesive pad

First, decide where you want your X-Paste to go. Remember you need at least 80mm clearance above the X-Paste cover - so you can easily remove it to replace tubes.
Remove the steel cover. Ensure the surface the X-Paste is to be adhered to (and the X-Paste back bar) is clean and dry – using the special wipes supplied.
There is no need to remove the brush guide (B) or pump (C) for this fixing method. Peel off the backing paper from the 3M super-strength adhesive strip (A).
Push firmly in place and leave for 2 hours before replacing the steel cover.

Fixing with wall plugs and screws

Decide where you want your X-Paste to go as above. Remove the steel cover. Remove the brush guide (B) by pinching together as illustrated. Remove the pump (C) by pulling out as illustrated – this will reveal the lower fixing hole. The upper fixing hole is at (D).
Mark through these two holes to the surface you are fixing to. This is where you will drill (with a 6mm drill bit) to take the supplied wall plugs. A good tip is to drill within the grout lines of your tiles!
Insert the plugs and secure the X-Paste through the fixing holes with the supplied screws.
Replace the pump and brush guide.

Inserting the paste tube

Remove end cap from paste tube and discard, moisten the nozzle of the tube with water and push the tube neck into the flexible top of the pump and rotate slightly to ensure a good seal.

Push the brush guide with your toothbrush a few times until all the air is out of the pump and you see paste. Your X-Paste is now ready to use.
